Jamie & David - May 20th, 2016 - Dover Hall Estate - Richmond Wedding Venue

Today we wanted to feature Jamie & David's May wedding.  I know you hear wedding professionals say over and over that it is "all in the details," but these two took it to the next level.  We always say that just like snowflakes, two weddings are never the same.  It's the little details that personalize your wedding to make it uniquely yours.

The inside of their wedding bands are engraved with "una in perpetuum" meaning "together forever" and "in aeternum" meaning "eternally."

Jamie and David decided to do a first look before their ceremony, you can feel the excitement in this picture!

They decided to have their ceremony in our rose garden, and they picked the PERFECT date for it! Did you know our roses typically only bloom during the last two weeks of May?

This is a gorgeous shot of their head table.  You can't tell from the picture, but David had all of his favorite hot sauces ready to go at his place setting!

We absolutely adored these little Eiffel Towers Jamie and David used to mark everyone's seats.

Their cake had an "In Aeternum" topper, which we now know means "eternally."

We have noticed that more couples are stepping away from the traditional cake and replacing it with a different sweet.  Jamie and David decided to do both! These macaroons are adorable!

One of our favorite parts about this wedding happened just moments before this picture.  Everyone knows about the traditional first dance that couples do, but Jamie and David decided to do one last dance before the night was over.  While the Dover Hall staff was sending wedding guests outside to prepare for a sparkler exit, the newlyweds did a last dance together alone to soak in all of the excitement from the night.

It was a pleasure getting to know J&D, we wish them the best of luck in their future together.  Congratulations!
